"Send It On" is a pop song performed by Demi Lovato, the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, and Selena Gomez. The group, billed as "Disney's Friends For Change" stems from Disney's environmental initiative of the same name. "Send It On" song was released on August 11, 2009 in the US as a charity single in order to benefit international environmental associations. "Send It On" was written by Adam Anders, Nikki Hassman and Peer Astrom who have previously written the song "Hoedown Throwdown" for Miley Cyrus.

In regards to "Send It On" song and the campaign, the 6 singers noted that it is a good cause and that it is one dear to them. The ballad has predominant power pop characteristics and is lyrically about passing on a "green-message".

"Send It On" song garnered mixed to average reviews from critics, stating that it is too American Idol and that the lyrics were hypocritical. "Send It On" song only received airplay on Radio Disney and debuted at #20 on the Billboard Hot 100. The corresponding music video has all 4 acts singing into microphones on top of a brightly lit stage and running across a "park-like" setting where many children are following them.

Album of Selena Gomez...2009: Kiss and Tell. Kiss and Tell is the debut album of Selena Gomez. Selena Gomez's “pop-rock-techno-inspired” debut album will be released by Hollywood Records on September 29, 2009.

In July 2008 Selena Gomez signed a record deal with Hollywood Records.During an interview with MTV in August 2008, Selena Gomez announced that she was planning on releasing a debut album in 2009. “It’s what I’ve gone through with heartache, friendships, and things like that,” Selena Gomez tells the June/July issue of Teen Vogue. “I want my fans to know me a little bit better after they hear this record.” The album was originally set to be released in the "summer of 2009".but, People Magazine reported in May 2009 that the album was set for a September 2009 release.

Selena Gomez said during an interview with MTV that the album's music genre will have a pop rock feel to it, and that she plans to play instruments on some of the album's tracks, Selena Gomez said "I will be singing, and I'm learning drums and playing electric guitar"."I basically want to make music that is fun and that parents and kids can jump around to and have a good time to,” Selena revealed.

Selena Gomez also recorded a song, entitled "Headfirst", but it will not be on the record.

Writing on her official website, the Wizards Of Waverly Place star explained that Selena Gomez had "taken my time to find my sound" and would embark on an "intense boot camp" in music over the coming weeks.

Selena Gomez told Just Jared Jr.com: "That the album will be about Hollywood and what people think about it and essentially how plastic it is sometimes. It's fun and I think girls can relate to it somewhat; for me it was because of Hollywood but it can really relate to a mean girl, an ex-boyfriend, to whoever."

Selena Gomez also wrote on her MySpace:"I want it to be fun, energetic, empowering but very good.
